The tale of two brothers
Hi There! My name is Nicholas, my brother Jordan and I both founded SJN Woodworking. While the passion for creating for both of us was always there the story starts further then that with my Grandfather. My childhood was spent building and maintaining anything and everything, from fixing interlocks to making birdhouses. I learned quickly that making and using my hands is something I wanted to do!
Having already taken shop class by the time I made it to high school, I convinced my younger brother to do the same since he didn’t know what to do with the extra class. He soon realized that he enjoyed building with wood as well and even owning the same custom built tv stand he made at school. We both have many projects and custom built pieces that we’re fond of.
Fast forward today and were creators and designers of one of a kind statement pieces, Charcuterie boards that liven a room, tables that become heirloom. Every piece tells a story, of nature, of the artisan, of the passion to create. Our furniture is more then an object, its a piece of art designed to become part of your story.
